Ankara Innovation Week took place in Congresium, Ankara on 4-5 May 2016. TAGES also participated in this innovation themed conference to promote the OPENISME (Open Innovation for Innovative SMEs) project.
Turkish Exporters’ Assembly (TIM), organized Ankara Innovation Week as a part of Turkey Innovation Week, to gather the international professionals, industrialists, academicians and university students together on 4-5 May 2016 in Congresium Ankara for an innovation themed conference, exhibition and workshops. Hikmet Barutçu, TAGES Ankara Operations Coordinator and Aslıhan Kağnıcı, TAGES Projects Coordinator joined the event to promote the OPENISME (Open Innovation for Innovative SMEs) project which TAGES is a partner of.
OPENISME Project, funded by the EU, provides the SMEs which are in need of R&D and increasing their innovation capacities, the opportunity to cooperate with the world’s leading universities and experts, and a common working place for specific expertise requiring needs of SMEs with the international patent/published work owning experts.
TAGES, provides SMEs the services below for free as part of the OPENISME platform:
- Finding the latest published works and patents on the SMEs’ expertise
- Finding the best expert for SMEs’ problems or project ideas
- Starting the communication with the experts and initiating the cooperation
- When SMEs and experts agree on a project idea, determining a suitable funding programme (TÜBİTAK/Horizon2020/EUREKA/EUROSTARS) and guidance
After these services, SMEs can start new R&D projects and can solve their problems on their current business processes.
